What is the difference between honey and beehive product?
When you buy regular honey, you don't know what medicinal properties it has. In our products, these properties are planned in advance, before the production starts, by choosing the plants on which the bees will feed. There are specific plants for each product. For example, BronchoMel is designed to help treat cough, and EnergyMel is designed to help with chronic fatigue problems. To understand the report that compared active ingredients in 6 samples of commercial honey and 2 samples of LifeMel, it is important to note that all commercial honey samples obtained from 3 different regions of the country (North, Center, South) underwent the same testing process. Based on the results from commercial honey testing, we can say: Beehive products have more advantages over regular honey: 1. Commercial honey has no active ingredients that are present in LifeMel, such as Chlorophylls, Carotenoids, Flavonoids. 2. When comparing microelements, we see that LifeMel contains 6 to 23 times more microelements than regular honey.
Can children take nutritional supplements as well?
Nutritional supplement use by children is a complex subject , where each case must be addressed individually. It is not recommended to use our products in children under 2 years of age. The reason for this is that the immune system of a child at that age has not fully developed yet. There is a possibility that bacteria from honey might interfere with the child's body(especially, botulism bacteria).
Can nutritional supplements substitute a medication ?
Nutritional supplements are not substitutes for medications. They can increase or decrease the effect of medications. Therefore, before using nutritional supplements, just like before using any drug, it is recommended to consult with a doctor
What is a nutritional supplement ?
A nutritional supplement is a biologically active element that contains different concentrations of substances. Usually, we take nutritional supplements with food, they provide an additional source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, probiotics, enzymes, etc. These supplements are not medications and can be bought at any pharmacy without a prescription. Biologically active supplements are used to achieve the required daily intake of vitamins and minerals, without which the human body cannot function properly. Deficiencies in vitamins A, E, C and microelements such as calcium, iron, magnesium are becoming more common. This is due to the fact that food contains less and less nutrients due to poor soil composition, use of chemical fertilizers, technologies that increase the shelf life of products, and transportation. Our diet is now filled with foods poor in vitamins: white flour products, distilled oils, empty calories in the form of fast food and processed foods
Are there nutritional supplements that can boost my energy during the day?
EnergyMel. The power of EnergyMel from the beehive is in the ingredients of the unique herbal extract fed on by the bees. Siberian Ginseng, American Spikenard and Magnolia Vine are herbs that have been found effective for treating fatigue, weakness or stress during the day. "The bees create the product after feeding on a unique mixture of plants. Some of these plants have long been recognized in professional literature as plants that help increase body energy and strengthen the ability of cells to cope with different stress factors." (Dr. Yehoshua Maor)
What happens in the bee's stomach and how does this contribute to Zuf Globus products ?
Bees make honey because it is an important food source for them. To produce honey, the bees must collect a sweet liquid, which is called nectar, from the flowers. A working bee gets to the flower and sucks the nectar with the help of their long and flexible straw-like mouth. The nectar passes through the bee's mouth into the "honey stomach" - a special pouch in the bee's abdomen, where it is stored. Honey stomach contains enzymes – proteins that accelerate chemical reactions. These enzymes help break down the complex sugars into simpler sugars – fructose and glucose, and this process is called "inversion". The bee stores the nectar in the hive by releasing the processed nectar into the hive. At this point she can feed her beehive friends or store the nectar in the hive's hexagonal cells. These cells make up the honeycomb. Then bees seal the cells with wax. The water in the processed nectar evaporates because of the constant heat in the hive, and the liquid becomes more viscous and concentrated. This liquid is actually the honey we know. Honey is an excellent source of energy for bees, humans and other animals, because it contains simple sugars that the body can easily use. The process of collecting nectar plays a very important role in the reproduction of plants. When a bee lands on the flower, pollen sticks to its body, and when it lands on another flower of the same species, the pollen falls off and fertilize the flower. This mechanism of plants to disperse pollen over great distances is quite sophisticated. When bees make our products, they receive biologically active substances along with foods that are not contained in the regular nectar, from which substances are formed or strengthened due to substances contained in the bee's body. A notable example: to obtain inactive beta-carotene, the bee will produce active vitamin A from it.
